Blitz Ballroom Black Market

Remember that Blitz Ballroom is tomorrow! And when you are deciding what to bring to the bomb shelter, don't forget your purse. Because as usual we have a great range of crafters ready to show you that making do and mending can be the height of glamour.

Returning after an absence of several months is Modern Mixers favourite, FunkyFrilly who puts vintage china to excellent use in her bang up-to-date cake stands, candles, wine glasses and more.

We are also happy to welcome back Dolly Tartan, who will be joining forces with Queen Bea this month. In preparation for a website revamp, Queen Bea is having a massive stock clearance and has promised huge reductions on her less burlesque-y items including one of a kind handbags, brooches, necklets, hair clips and cocktail hats.

We are massively excited to bring you the creations of up and coming milliner Headonistic Hats. If you need us on Sunday, you will probably find us posing in front on a mirror in one of Miss Suzuki Sparks' fabulous creations!

We are also looking forward to perusing colourful and illustrative fashion accessories with a retro feel courtesy of Twiggd. Check out some photos of her lovely wooden designs below!

Some of you may have seen the rather fabulous Forties-themed window display in Oxfam's Royal Mile shop. For the first time ever, we will be hosting a stall of Oxfam vintage wear. These are some of the best quality items at prices beyond reasonable and all the money goes to one of our favourite charities! Go on, treat yourself - it's for a good cause!

And of course we also have our regular battery of beauticians, Vanity Thrills Vintage Hair and Ivory Lovelust Make-Up Artist, to provide you with the perfect 40s look, because beauty is your duty!

Advance tickets and group bookings are still available from our website until midnight tonight so don't be left out in the cold, order your ration book now!
